Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born on July 3rd, 1985 in Moscow. She was educated in London as well as Moscow and graduated with a Masters Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla has created the IDEA campaign in July of this year to create awareness and inspire the action on environmental issues in Azerbaijan as well as elsewhere. IDEA is an initiative that focuses on children and works together with them to tackle the environmental problems we face.
In May 2007 she was appointed the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the economic and social development of the country by carrying out a variety of projects in education as well as public health, sport, culture as well as science, technology, as well as the environment. In 2011, she was made Vice-President.

In 2007, Leyla Aliyeva founded the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow. The London exhibition was launched and travelled to all capitals of Europe including Paris (Berlin), Moscow, Rome, Rome and Vienna.

On May 8th, 2008, on the anniversary of the occupation of Shusha, Leyla Aliyeva launched an initiative dubbed "Justice for Khojaly". The campaign is taking place in more than 30 countries. The aim of the campaign is to increase global awareness of the Karabakh conflict, and the Khojaly Genocide. It is particularly focused on reaching out via online media, live events.

Leyla Aliyeva became the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue’s general coordinator in the year 2008 and was elected chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18, 2009. The organization assists Azerbaijani teens and Azerbaijani students in the Russian Federation. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Alayeva was awarded the "Taraggi" Award in July 2011 in recognition of her contribution to the relations between Russia and Azerbaijani. Leyla Aliyeva In New York she was also presented with the "Key To Life" award in November 2011 in recognition of her charitable projects for children.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Goodwill Ambassador, was officially proclaimed on May 25, 2015.

On October 20, 2015, she received the Pushkin Medal of the Russian Federation.

Leyla Aliyeva is a mother of twins and a daughter.
