While Minecraft Festival might feel like an eternity away, be assured that we're using every minute to plan and craft the unforgettable, community-focused blockstravaganza you deserve. We are eager to show you all and we can't wait for you to come. However, until then keep your eyes open, stay safe and stay positive.
You were excited. We were excited. The excitement was evident throughout the entire event. Minecraft Festival tickets were going to be released on Friday of this week, beginning the countdown to our live blockstravaganza in September. After much consideration and thought, we decided to postpone the event for this year.
Many organizers have had to cancel or delay events and gatherings across the globe due to the COVID-19 disease. This was done to ensure their guests their health and security. The situation surrounding Minecraft Festival, however, is a bit different. We are still several months from September and cannot predict how long it will take to stop the outbreak. This is a result of the huge amount of preparations required to plan an event of this magnitude.
Our producers, partners and exhibitors are scattered all over the world, so we are currently not able to connect and collaborate in the way we want to. Since we don't know when exactly we will be able start planning again, we have decided to postpone. We can guarantee that next year's event is the one that our community is hoping for.

It will be the spot to get all the most recent Minecraft news, announcements and exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and it will be live-streamed to your screen, wherever you are. Thanks, Internet!
