Minecraft Snapshot 20w14a

Although we've just added every update imaginable to Minecraft We thought it would be a good idea to pick up the Nether Update snapshots from where we stopped. This snapshot introduces the Zoglins!



New Features in 20w14a



- Hoglins that end up in the Overworld become Zoglins very quickly - but who would ever consider taking the risk of bringing a Hoglin to the Overworld? Compasses can now be amused by Curse of Vanishing



Zoglins



Zoglins can be described as Zombie Hoglins. They are created by bringing a Hoglin to the Overworld.



Changes in 20w14a



- The main menu background can be found in the Nether. - The general statistics list has been alphabetically sorted. Strider balancing



Strider Balancing



- Strider speed when mounted has been significantly increased in order to more closely match boat speeds. minecraftservers Warped Fungus on Sticks Stick now has 100 maximum item damage and only takes 1 damage per Strider consumed. The boost is great for traversing the lava sea when Warped Fucus is mounted on a Stick with Striders.



Technical Changes in 20w14a



The compass has now been updated to include LodestonePos and LodestoneDimension data fields. If LodestoneTracked is zero, the game will skip the search for the presence of a Lodestone in the specified position. The attributes are now added to game registry like items, sound events and other sound events. Region files are now opened in synchronous mode to improve the reliability of the game.



Game registry has been updated with attributes. This means that there aren't many changes:



- Items and entities no longer have unknown attributes
