Right now we're testing a couple of things. We're testing changing Kernelle so that she doesn't fire levitating bombs, and instead have bombs you remote controll. flying the bomb into an enemy detonates it, letting you blow up things like you did before, but you can also charge the bomb which gives it a black hole effect, letting you levitate the bomb on top of enemies, making them take continous damage.
It's also possible to have this bomb flying around temporarily after you switch to another gunner. The black hole effect will probably have a slight cooldown
The idea here is that Kernelle will now form a semi-support role, and can attack enemies around corners or places you can't reach. You can also navigate the bombs into tiny corridors hereby opening new paths. We're also contemplating letting the bombs block shots for you
Aside from that, we're working on the Priate dungeon right now. Some things we're working on is having pirates detect webs and running over to remove them. You can't web the pirates themselves from the front or they'll get angry and sound the alarm, but if you web them from behind, they'll trip and pass out for a few seconds, allowing you to run past before they wake up.
We're also working on air ducts. We'll write more on this as we get further
