Dear Sir
I am writing & sending details of my Great Uncle Charles McCarthy snr.(He was my
mother's uncle).My mother incidentally lived to nearly 104years.She was given the key to
the city of Franklin Pennsylvania.
I wondered if you would be interested in great uncle Charles as an irishman who came to the USA early
in the 20th century and made quite a success of his life.
I enclose a newspaper article written in 1962 telling his story.I hope the copies are of a good enough quality.
I am and have been for quite a few years a subscriber to your magazine.
