• (1897) Newton Artemis Fido Scamander lahir di Inggris.
• (1908/1909) Memulai pendidikan, dan terseleksi kedalam asrama Hufflepuff. Membangun pertemanan dengan Leta Lestrange karena memiliki ketertarikan yang sama.
• Setelah lulus dari Hogwarts, Scamander bekerja di Departement for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.
• Dua tahun kemudian dipindah tugaskan ke Beast Division.
• (1918) Augustus Worme dari Ubscurus Book meminta Newt untuk menulis edisi perdana dari buku "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them".
• (1925) Newt memulai perjalanan untuk mendokumentasikan makhluk magis dan habitat alaminya.
• (Des. 1926) Newt tiba di New York. Namun, Jacob Kowalski (muggle) sengaja membuka koper milik Newt, akibatnya beberapa makhluk melarikan diri dan menyebabkan insiden yang cukup besar.
