VIBRANT CLUB WAR PLAN [ROUGH DRAFT] - boy howdy

ROUND 1: ______ Collecting
-Team A has a certain theme and Team B has a certain theme. Both teams collect items that relate to that theme and send them to Troy. (Example: Blue Team sends Troy a Blue Viotto Plushie and a Blueberry Pie) Whichever team collects the most items of their assigned theme by the end of the round wins.
-Round 1 lasts 1 week. If we start on the planned June 12th, up until June 19th.
-Each item is worth 1 point toward your team. (We suggest that the items people send in be inexpensive so that no one is getting screwed over because they even if they send in something like a Blue Ball of Yarn, that's worth a decent amount of MP but they're still getting 1 point.)

ROUND 2: Recycling Round-Up
-Team A and Team B both restock soft drinks, and send the empty cans to Troy. Or they can be full cans, empty cans are just less work for Troy.
-The cans that are sent are tallied up and added to your team's total. Whichever team collects the most cans by the end of this round wins.
-Round 2 lasts 1 week. If this round starts on the planned June 19th, up until June 26th.
-Each empty can is worth 1 point for your team. (It is encouraged for participants to restock the cans from the soft drinks shop instead of buying from SS, since it is a lot more expensive to buy the can from user shops.)

ROUND 3: Weekly Quest Challenge
-Team A and Team B both try to complete as many of the assigned quest as possible, like how it's done in the weekly quest challenge. I think that the quest should be chosen with a 'Which is your favorite quest?' poll sometime during round 2.
-Shortly before the round has begun, a small group of people go around and check the stats page of all of the members and record how many quests they have already completed of that assigned quest. When the contest is over, you just compare the numbers.
-Each completed quest is worth 1 point toward your team's total for this round. Whichever team has the most points by the round's end wins.
-Round 3 should last 1 week. If this round starts on the planned June 26th, up until July 3rd.

ROUND 4: Dukka Challenge
-Team A and Team B both gather dukka coins and send them to Troy. It's pretty simple.
-The dukka coins collected go into Troy's coin exchange. I think that they should be redeemed somewhere along the line and whichever items he gets should be used a prize.
-Each coin value earns you 1 point. (Example: Sherri sends Troy a two dukka coin. Her team has earned two additional war points.)
-Round 4 should last 1 week. If this round starts on the planned July 3rd, up until July 10th.

ROUND 5: Auction Action (some wordplay there)
-Team A and Team B both get items (they can buy them, already have them, whatever.) and put them up for club auction.
-Each item should have a starting price of 1MP, a minimum increment value of 1MP and it should go into auction for 24 hours. This makes the items cheap and gives the club managers (if that's what we're called) plenty of time to record your item.
- POINT SCALE (based upon what the item is going for in SS at the given time of recording)
1-5,000 - 1 point
5,001-10,000 - 3 points
10,001-20,000 - 5 points
20,000-80,000 - 8 points
100k+ - Mail Troy
-Ideally, this round should liven up our auctions, give teams a chance to win relatively easy war points and at the same time provide our members with a chance to snag some great items at an inexpensive price.
-Round 5 lasts 1 week and should go up until July 17th.

ROUND 6: Undecided

GENERAL INFORMATION/PROPOSALS:
-Team 'leaders' should try to make Troy's life easier, since the club war will be living hell for him. I think this means counting cans/dukkas/items beforehand.
-Teams still have to be split up. Sadie came up with the idea of having a base of Max and Quack vs. Shannon and Ryan and using a name randomizer to pick the rest of the team. If things get a little lopsided, Shannon and I can have a little trading session until we think that the teams are even.
-Troy and I think that there should be individual prizes, too. Meaning, we have an individual leaderboard and a team leaderboard, just in case the most contributing member is on a losing team.
-I think that maybe winning each round should give the winning team 'bonus points'. It doesn't have to be anything huge, but it can keep things competitive and not "this round is hard, let's wait it out until the next one comes around."
-I think that chatting and donating should play a minor role in this war, just to keep things going, especially if we may be withdrawing from the club till for prizes. I think that for every 100k your team may donate, you get 1 point. This keeps things relatively fair (1mil is only 10 points, the equivalent of how many points you could get for 10 blueberry pies) but makes it a factor.
-Chatting should play an equally minor role. For every 5k posts your entire team gets (this means screenshotting the members list before the war begins) your team wins 1 point. Again, enough to be a factor, but not enough to make it to where my team will blow everyone out of the water.
