Hewan yang berasal dari Yunani ini memiliki kepala seperti manusia, tubuh singa dan ekor kalajengking. Mirip seperti Graphorn yang sudah kita bahas kemarin, Manticore juga sulit untuk dikalahkan, mengingat kulitnyaa dapat menolak (repel) semua mantra yang sudah kita kenal. Jadi sulit ya untuk mengalahkan atau membius hewan ini dengan sihir.
Lalu hewan ini bisa memahami dan berbicara dengan bahasa manusia. Masuk akal, mengingat kepalanya kepala manusia. Walaupun begitu, mereka tetap diklasifikasikan sebagai Beast, bukan Being. Ini karena mereka cenderung sangat ganas dan buas. Manticore ini karnivora dan mereka juga memakan manusia. Manticore pertama-tama akan menusuk korbannya dengan ekornya yang beracun, setelah korbannya mati, mereka akan memakannya sampai bersenandung kecil. Manticore ini sangat langka. Jadi kemungkinan menemukannya sangat kecil.
