Seminerlerde dinleyiciler etrafındaki insanlardan büyük bir ölçüde etkilenir. Örnek vermek gerekirse lise yıllarımda okulumda bir çok seminer düzenlenirdi ve bu seminerlere dersten kaçmak için katılırdık. Konuşmacının vurgulu cümlelerinden sonra alkış başlatmak, seminer bitişinde tüm salonun ayakta alkışlaması, seminer bitişinde bir kişinin ayağa kalkıp biraz uzağındaki arkadaşına "Gel kitabını alalım, imzasını alalım, fotoğraf çektirelim" gibi eylemler dinleyiciler fark etmese de onların kafalarında bir fikir kıvılcımı oluşturur ve onlar da yapmak ister. Bu saydığım örneklere birçok yenisi eklenebilir.
