Notes

First off, you are probably the only person who has ever in my entire time on Mara ever said I was doing a good job in a club and that I mean something to you all. I've had complaints like crazy from people and it has been very over whelming. Thank you for everything you said, it really does mean a lot to me and it did make my cry a little, if you ever tell anyone that I will hunt you down. I don't cry often, country girls aren't a loud to.

Secondly, it's not just a certain group of people it's the fact that I am getting the complaints and I try to change thing or try to get people involved and I get shot down a bit. Not calling anyone out, but it has happened a few times. I feel like it's happened to other members, they put out an idea and it gets shattered by other members. I try to help and throw out the ideas of improvements but normally people shoot them down.

Now, the club is getting over whelming, but I don't think Tory understood it all the way. The reason I'm wanting to leave is because I still feel like their isn't a fair amount of share given to everyone. I know I've also talked to Random about it and she feels the same way. I feel like voices aren't being heard and people are leaving because of that. Many people are left out and ignored (Myself included sometimes, I will admit I've felt that nagging pain) Troy complained that people weren't reach out to him, but I'm finally understanding why certain people reach out to me and it's because I am having the same problems/pains.

I don't mind getting the complaints, but it's the fact if I try to hint at having something changed it get's ignored, it has happened a few times, but I shrugged it off. I feel like their is no communication between people. Now a few times I didn't want to tell Troy, You, and other about what was going on, but more often times than not it seemed like y'all didn't care or it was fine for you guys. I normally turn to Random or myself because I don't have anyone else to turn to.

Overall, it's a mixture of things that want me to leave. I just don't know what to do at this point, I want to leave, but at the same time I don't because you guys really are great, but apart of me doesn't want to be around when it crashes and burns because things aren't taken care of when they need to be. Honestly, that's why others left too.

I really do try to be the voice of reason and reach out to people. I love getting to know everyone, I love setting up games and advents, but it's getting harder to help when ideas get shot down or it's the same complaints that have been addressed before and "fixed" because they were never really fixed, just patched. I would love to share with everyone what other members are saying, but being that farm raised country girl I made a solid vow never to say who said what just because I want to keep that trust with everyone in the club. I feel like I don't have the connection I want with everyone though, just because people do get lost, and skipped over, and then it comes back to me.

I used to be VERY active in the old club, and I want to be active now, and I probably can be on most of the time after next week (camping trip this weekend) but I feel like a lot of the club is based on superficial freaking posts counts and the number of pages. 90% of the contest complains (the questions answered) were that everything revolved around post count! Yes, I want to be active, but I have lives, so do other people and they feel it's not right to be excluded because they have school, or work, or etc. I feel that's what a big probably is, so many people focus on "OMG I just got 3k posts" and then some are like, well I just made it to 1k but I've been busy. A lot of people have had trouble with the amount of spam and favoritism too, I've read over 100+ MMs about the club since it was created and that's where the problem has been since day one.

I'm sorry to rant a lot but I've relayed this information to many people about what is going on and no one is listening still. THAT is a big part of why I feel I want...no HAVE to leave because I can't do what those without a voice need me too, because now even I'm loosing my say and voice in the club.
