Uppgifter upplysningen.
Den epok som kallas upplysningen den varade mellan år 1700- 1800. Epoken skrevs för att kyrkan och religioner var inte lika intressant längre som vetenskapen så man gick ifrån religioner och kyrkan och satsade på vetenskapen. Under renesansen hade kyrkan och kungar nästan all makt i samhället. Det var farligt att inte göra som kyrkan ville det kunde bli hårda straff. Under upplysningen utväcklades samhället bäst av jämnlika människor. Under epoken upplysningen började folk ifrågasätta denna makt. Författare och filosofer skrev att varje människa har rättigheter för oss idag är det självklart med på1600- 1700 talet var det inte det. Epoken växte fram i frankrike. Isaac newton 1643-1727 på 1600 talet upptäckte tyngdlagen och det var då möjligt att beskriva solsystemets uppbyggnad. John locke 1632-1704 myntade uttrycket tabula rasa som betyder att varje människa föds som ett oskrivet blad. De var forskare och några författare var Daniel defoe som gjorde romanen robinson kruse från 1719. Jonathan Swift skrev romanen Gullivers resor år 1726.
