Tj Application essay #2
A world without explanation is often a world misunderstood. Scientists help us break down and understand what happens in the world all around us. The studies made throughout many fields of science has allowed us to understand the world in great detail. However, there are still many topics in science that remain a mystery to humanity. Physics, one of the most observable fields of science, is also one of the most fascinating for its paradoxes and mysteries.

Physics is an omnipresent science that you can see in action from the slightest breeze of wind to the trajectory of a bullet. I have always found physics interesting because it can explain everything that happens in our world. For example, in one science fair project I was able to explain how wing shape and size affected an airplane's flight through the physics of aerodynamics. Physics in this application helps us learn more about aviation, however general physics crossover into many other subjects. Understanding physics allows you to understand how things in the world work in real-time.

Likewise, physics is useful in many applications. Whether in aviation, construction, or any other project, physics is often taken into consideration. For one of my projects in technical education class, I designed and built a car that could safely protect an egg during a high-speed crash. During the design of the car, I took into consideration the impact force, friction, aerodynamics, speed, etc. Physics has a lot of implements and usefulness in our modern world today.

However, physics does not only have practical implications, quantum physics explores the more esoteric and theoretical parts of science. This includes many unsolved mysteries, thought experiments, and paradoxes that often leaved scientists baffled. During my own studies of quantum physics, I have met many thought experiments and paradoxes that have left me think for hours on end, such as Schrödinger's Cat and the idea of superposition. Physics is often a mind-blowing and debatable topic with many theories yet to be proven.

Physics is an interesting field of science that happens all around us everyday. Understanding physics can allow us to create new technologies and make new discoveries for the modern world. Along with other fields of science, physics helps us understand the world around us and drive a curiosity to solve problems yet to be explained.
