courtesy means to be polite in your attitude to every one even animals for example when some one is hurt and everyone ignores the person you walk over to the person and ask if you can help . another example is when some one is being bullied and is weak you stand up for them even if you don't know the person you stand up for them you use courtesy to be polite and tell the bully what they are doing is wrong . and if some one is not kind to you should not be unkind back you should be polite and work it out and may be they will be your friend one day because you used courtesy and because you did not frown nor yell when the person was being unkind to you . you should always use courtesy when debating and do not insult the person you are debating. Jumping up and down yelling and screaming is not debating and is not using courtesy it is arguing. Always use courtesy in your everyday life.
