I was in South Korea from August to early January of 2012, maybe we were at the same time there! I always wanted to study an exchange semester in Asia (I was studying japanese at the time), however my target country, Japan, had a too expensive lifestyle compared to Mexico. My home university had a partnership with lots of South Koreans universities (excellent business programs), the government was sponsoring an scholarship to top students and I was offered also a light course on korean language (I love learning languages) so I chose South Korea!
It was an incredible experience, I cooked mexican food and taught about Mexico to little kids and 4th graders! This is one of the best experiences in my life, they loved mexican candy and were amazed by the mariachi sombrero I showed them.
The only worry I have is about the visa, I did some research and it seems that it will take around 3 months to arrive. I am worried that I might not be able to help you on april (the start date on your profile), hope we can talk about this and about the whole process!
