Types of cells in the human body (blood & immune system):
‣ Erythrocyte (red blood cell)
‣ Megakaryocyte (platelet precursor)
‣ Monocyte (white blood cell)
‣ Connective tissue macrophage (various types)
‣ Epidermal Langerhans cell.
‣ Osteoclast (in bone)
‣ Dendritic cell (in lymphoid tissues)
‣ Microglial cell (in central nervous system)

(There are wayyy too many cells, like cells that are in hormones, the brain, like neurons, the nervous system and humanly organs/body parts. TL;DR, too many cells to list.)

Human Cell/Animal Cell contents:
‣ Cells are 2/3 water, meaning that 2/3 percent of your body is water.
‣ The last 1/3 is a mixture of molecules, lipids, (a biomolecule that is soluble in nonpolar solvents) proteins, and carbohydrates.
‣ The cell consumes raw materials in the food you eat into needed molecules.

Animal cell anatomy:
Cell membrane - The thin layer of protein and fat that surrounds the cell which acts like a barrier.
Centrosome - a small body located near the nucleus - it has a dense center and radiating tubules.
Cytoplasm - A jellylike substance that fills the whole cell, it's source is near the nucleus, located where the organelle is.
Golgi - A flattened type of organelle that produces cell membranes that surround lysosomes
Lysosomes - Lysosomes are also a type of organelle, it has digestive enzymes that digest nutrients and is the consumer of the cell.
Mitochondrion - A rod-like organelle which has two membranes, the inner membrane is infolded many times forming cristae. (a series of projections.)
The mitochondrion converts energy in glucose into ATP (adenosine triphosphate) for the cell.
Nuclear membrane - A membrane barricading the nucleus.
Nucleolus - An organelle inside the nucleus.
Nucleus - Basically the brain of the cell, it controls protein synthesis and contains DNA (inside of chromosomes.)
Ribosome - Small organelles composed of RNA-rich cytoplasmic granules that are sites of protein synthesis.
Vacuole - fluid-filled, membrane-surrounded cavities inside a cell. The vacuole fills with food being digested and waste material that is on its way out of the cell.
