Organisation:
Cell - the smallest part of an organism

Heart veins/arteries - aorta, pulmonary artery, pulmonary vein, left atrium, right atrium, left ventricle, right ventricle, vena cava.
Enzyme - A biological catalyst which fits into a certain type of substrate to speed up the reaction rate.
Types of enzymes - Protease converts protein into amino acids. Lipase breaks down fats into fatty acids and glycerol. Amylase breaks down starch into glucose.
Coronary heart disease - A buildup of layers of fatty material in the coronary artery.
Risk Factors - Bad diet, smoking, high blood pressure/cholesterol, diabetes, lack of exercise, genes.
Stents - These open up the blocked artery, allowing the blood to flow freely. This is the least invasive solution to CHD but does not permanently rectify the disease. Fatty buildup can still occur once the stent is in place and it can cause blot clots.
Stem cells - Come from either embryos or bone marrow. Embryo stem cells can become anything (organs, skin etc.) whereas bone marrow can only become blood or bone. However there are moral implication to using and sub sequentially destroying embryos.
