So, I was offline at the time, but apperently some drama happened with another amino and it's guidelines.

Now I've seen MULTIPLE people from this amino spam that amino, harass users, etc.

Hell, people were going over to that amino for the first time ever in DROVES to vote on a rule that wouldn't affect them. Of course they're just going to the amino to virtue signal and never use it ever again.

If you aren't a part of their community, don't choose stuff for them. No matter what it is. They are old enough to sign up to this app (and possibly lie about their age), so they can decide "yes" or "no".

In other news: I also saw someone who refused to FOLLOW the guidelines just because they didn't add the rule.

The world...it can't revolve around you. I'm really sorry but it just can't. You can't really harass little kids about ships and ignore guidelines just because you're suddenly in the right. I hope those users get banned, it'll make it safer.

And yes...This is mainly because of a rule an amino is that has never interactsd with us is debating on.

I personally think it's nice the mods of that Amino give their users a say in things. It opens way for civil discussion, but on here since things are instantly no-go or not, and there is tons of "backseat curation"...it's pretty toxic here.

Opinions and options that are given are often met with vigor here. People often tend to shut themselves up.

People argue that they're "saving lives of multiple children" by making this rule enacted. It..it really isn't that deep. No child is being saved because you decided to harass some 11 year old on the internet who likes Oreimo too much.

Honestly, if you think about it, this is just a Ship War with a thinly veiled layer of so-called "progressivism" on it.
You're still fighting over which ships are better. You're just deciding to add harassment, spam and death threats into the mix.

If you want to help children, abused or not, donate your time and money to them. You're clearly passionate, take all that keyboard warriorism and anger into your love for children. You're clearly passionate. (Well, passionate's being generous..)

If you told someone you used their past abuse to advocate for censorship, they'll most likely be offended you used the darkest time in their life to get some stupid anime banned, and used them to push your horrible agenda, like they're just some living excuse to use, that doesn't matter past their status of "living excuse".

If you help a willing and wanting child, visit them everyday..it'll most likely bring a smile to their face. They'll be over joyous to see you! They'll be so greatful that they got to see you, that you GENUINELY love them and want to see them get better, that they aren't some excuse of a human with no purpose.

Most people who ship this stuff grow out of it, because they use fiction as a place to explore without being hurt, or hurting anyone else. People also use fiction to cope.

Would you rather have a kid ship incest Rin x Len until they hit the age of 14 and grow out of it or have them experiment, real life with their siblings?

Besides, VA scares me because 95% of the userbase has this mindset.
I know I will most likely lose the majority of my friends, get harassed, and maybe even told to kill myself by the more vicious users on here because I'm not "one of you". I'm not the Vocaloid Amino Standard. I don't have the same beliefs or morals, and ones who are different are aliens. Aliens who deserve to rot probably.

Honestly. Straight people, perverts, loli/shotacons, and whoever else VA hates are usually in my list of favourite people. They're funny, nice, sweet caring, they accept the fact that even though I'm different, we can agree to disagree.
Unlike most people on here, I will NEVER force my friends or people in a community to conform to some standard in order for me to like them.

Plus these people who have vowed to keep all children away from "evil sex and impurity!" Have told me to die and get raped due to my stance on these things. ("Arent you 13+? If you're a little kid why are you on this app?" I am 13+, but I'm still considered a baby to them.
I am far from a grown woman. But I am not a baby. And I don't need to be "protected" from pictures on the internet. I can use a block button.)
It's almost as if they're hypocrites! Oh wait...

I dislike some of the way certain things were handled on Vocaloid Amino in the past.
Do I spam the feed with things that I want to go my way? No!
Do I disregard ALL of the guidelines because I dislike one? No!
Do I harass individual users who I don't know? No!

I've seen people call the WHOLE amino disgusting and they've never even used it before they heard of that rule.

I've seen people in that community ALSO harass others because of this rule, so they obviously agree with you. It's not the whole amino.

People are also trying to get the amino flagged and removed just because they don't agree.

Imagine how much friendships you'd split up! Splitting up friendships because you hate fictional ships.

Sigh~ Those 95% of people on this app are really sad.

This really shows how low people on this app will go to virtue signal and hate and harass

You can tell me "This is only some people". It's only partially true though. Yes, a few users went to harass and vote on that poll that wouldn't affect them.

But 95% of users on VA all have this mindset. The mindset that if someone:
-Has different opinions
-Believes in morals different than your morals that you believe are 100% pure good morals that you and everyone who agrees with you are literally the protector of all children and worlds, you are changing the world by shouting at people online

That you are a horrible outlier. And should be punished for what you believe in(shit communist VA was here this whle time)
Due to this common, toxic mindset, I believe that if I don't "confess" that one day one user will find out about my morals, me believing that no fiction should be censored, tell the world, and I'll be harassed and banned.

So I'm telling you myself. In a much too overly dramatic way.

I remember fondly I was, on this site, told to go choke and die because I told a joke. Was offered no help from the mods. They agreed with the one who told me and people who supported me to choke and die.

Yes I 100% unironically remember it fondly. After I got over the fact I was being harassed it was actually pretty funny that I changed a word in a shitty bandwagon(that still goes on to this day) that people would tell me that I deserve to die.

Even then. Nobody should have to be censored because one thing offends one person. Who would be the one person who decides that "If it's too bad for me, no one gets it"

Long story short, fiction is fiction. Let people create what they want.

I will take a MILLION crime-free incest shippers, who have never commited crimes and never will over the most VICIOUS, out for blood anti and/or Vocaloid Amino user who unapologetically wants to brutally genocide all incest shippers, and probably will have abusive tendencies themselves one day.

For these reasons...I'm going on a hiatus. Hopefully it's permanent. I'm making only a few more posts here (less than 5), will refrain from interacting with users outside of my main friend circle (who I trust and wouldn't leave me over silly ships)
