Burada sokaklarda zor bir hayat yaşadıktan sonra önce yetimhaneye alınır, sonra da Avustralyalı
Brierley ailesi tarafından evlat edinilir. Tazmanya'da yaşayan yeni ve zengin ailesiyle rahat bir
gençlik dönemi geçiren Saroo, aradan 25 yıl geçtikten sonra kaybettiği ailesini bulma isteğiyle
Hindistan'a geri döner.
Saroo Brierley'nin gerçek öyküsünden uyarlanan film, 6 dalda Oscar adaylığı kazandı.
