Also, I know about your family thing. One of my best friends told me when she was visiting. I mean so what? That's outside of your control, and would you have it any other way? No. And I honestly couldn't care less. I actually have one of my own, and soon enough you'll find out.

Here's one thing what I admire from you, bear in mind, it might offend other people, but again this is not about them, otherwise I would admire everyone. But I don't. I don't hate them either. I just like you more because of this.

I like the fact that you're a fighter. I don't know much, but from what I can observe and what I know, you are. You're probably smarter than most Indonesians in the UK. Why? Because from all the people that I know, they chose to go abroad, not because they earned it, nor they deserved it. They do it because it's an easy way out. Because their parents can afford it. They failed to enter the university of their choice in Indonesia. This doesn't apply to everyone of course. But I don't believe in anyone born stupid, they just don't make enough effort. Of course, success is not defined by whether or not you gain an entry to a particular university. And life is not defined by a particular period of our life, although every period will eventually has a role to play. There are many successful college drop-outs, i.e. Bill, Mark, etc. And many others that did not attend a top university end up being successful. The point I'm trying to make is this. What sets you apart is when people were choosing the easy way out, when they were slacking around, when they simply didn't care enough, where at least in my case, I know some people that kept boasting my parents are "bla bla bla, I'll be fine". That didn't stop you. And in the end you maintained an excellent grade that gets you into what I think is the best business school in Indonesia. Not because you're parents, or some other external factors. You made it because you deserved it. If going abroad is what you always want to do, I can tell you this, you deserve it more than most of these people. And if ever you applied for a scholarship and didn't get it, I'd finance you myself.
