Debris (noun)
the remains of anything broken down or destroyed, rubble
example: the debris from hurricane sandy made my backyard a mess.

Skitter (verb)
to go run, glide lightly or rapidly
example: the spider skittered across my kitchen floor.

Morose (adj)
gloomily or sullenly ill-humored as a person or a mood
example: The sick girl was feeling very morose. "MO never ROSE from his bed"

Drone (verb or noun)
to make a dull, continued, low, monotonous sound, hum, buzz
example: Mr.roth's voice drones on and on.

Anguish (noun)
excruciating or acute distress, suffering, pain
example: The girl feels anguish after her dog died.

Glimmer (noun)
a faint or unsteady light; gleam
example: The runner didn't have a glimmer of hope, since he was last in his race.
