good morning class. my name is Jayden. today I am going to talk about a frightening experience. during the school holidays, Jake and I met up with some other kids in the neighbourhood at a void deck to play a game of hide and seek. jake and I made the perfect pair as we were experts at the game. None of the children playing could not find us as we hid ourselves. when we were younger, we practiced in the game by playing it more often, learning all the tips and tricks. as we played this in the same area several times, everyone thought it was a good idea to play the game in a bigger area, therefore we decided to extend our boundaries up to the 5th floor. As time passed by, it was finally me and Jake's turn to hide. The moment the seeker started counting, Jake and I dashed to the 3rd floor and hid near the large potted plants so that we could not be spotted easily. Suddenly, a man in torn and dirty clothes walked unsteadily down the stairs and shouted like a madman at the top of his voice at me. The loud roar sent shivers down my spine in a split second and, paralysed with fear. He scolded me for whatever reason but he started laughing uncontrollably. Jake and I knew he was mentally ill as his queer behaviour showed it to us. As the man walked closer, he grabbed my wrist and kept pulling it towards him. I immediately kicked his shins and he immediately fell to his knees, groaning in pain. Everyone dashed past the madman and ran into the safety of the open void deck. All of us were seized by terror and stood stunned and became speechless by the sudden rebuke. thank you for your kind attention.
