Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen

I am Jemimah Kaye C. Garcia, I, too graduated in Angono Private Highschool. As nervous as I am standing here today, I am also excited to share my experience with you all.

Follow your passion, stay true to yourself, never follow someone else's path unless you're in the woods and you're lost and you see a path then by all means you should follow that. Never ever be someone else just to be successful, you can never succeed if you follow someone else. And you can never be satisfied if you can’t be true to yourself, accept yourself, if you follow someone else’s path, it will go well in the beginning but in the end, its not just right.

We all, should follow our own path, cause that will be the only time you will realise that you are learning, growing into something better and get to know ourselves as an Individual self.

When I started Grade 8 in APHS, I was bullied in my first day, but I didn’t said anything to my teacher. I’m scared of having friends that’s why I’m alone, and thats why I got bullied. I followed classmate’s advice “just be a cool kid, so you could fit in”
I tried, but its not me, cool is not my title. I did fit in, but I’m not happy. I was the bully, laughing when someone got bullied. So I changed, the true me, I accepted myself, I quoted “I’m a loner cause I’m a transferee, but that doesn’t mean I have to be” I started making friends and I’m the one who can give the bullies a piece of mind.

I want to thank the teachers, my parents and to my classmates I call friends, you all guided me along the way. Now, as this graduation we call “the ending” this is just the beginning, where we’ll start the journey, set our own rules and guide ourselves individually. It have to occured us that we have to leave our comfort zone and live a new reality

I would never forget the teachers efforts and adjust themselves for the students, they teach us lessons but they also teach life lessons. They point out our mistakes, and by that you became a better person and made things right. They adjust themselves so students can approach them and can open up to them. I enjoyed personally the teachers’ life lesson, cause I know that they experienced it and they are once students.

Being here, is what made me, Me. That’s why I’m gonna miss it, this is where I started learning about myself, 3 years in this school, of course I’m gonna miss all of it. I’m gonna miss how I and my friends will go crazy over a boy or a girl, who we really adore. The fun programs.

I started being a total loser, my classmates and my teachers guided me, being all nice to me, adjusting all the way through Junior High School, but today, as I graduated I can see my teachers smile and saying “You did it, you’ve done it good” In the end, we learn, and became better. We all can see the difference, of how well we changed. We will all will leave this school and start a new reality, by ourself

Last, just follow yourself, never be someone else, and be confident in what you are, do this and you’ll never go wrong.
