As a football fan in general and #MUFC fan in particular, I really don't like Hazard that much. Nobody can deny that he's a talented player who'll probably come to win a lot of tophies if he keeps going this way, but still he's a bit overrated to me. I should say unstable, mostly in terms of #FPL points.
I know plenty will disagree with me, but first let's give it a look.
It was clear to me since the first gameweek that I shouldn't rely on Hazard (the same I shouldn't have relied on Cazorla last season).
I saw everyone captaining him back then due to the double game he was sheduled to have against Hull City And Aston Villa, I don't think many of #FPL managers thought about another choice unless they were looking for a differential captain and guess what?
They made a good choice, that's because in 180 minutes of playing time Hazard could only assist a goal for £9.5 and that doesn't appear to be cheap at all. Such a let down.
Moving on to the next 8 games (GW2-GW10), Hazard earned 39 points (4.87 points per game) and that's far, far away of satisfying me compared to his value and the other players available at midfield for a cheaper value and more points. Even if there's no one, you could've spend that money on high-points scoring strikers and defenders and you're winning in both cases.
from GW11 to GW14, Hazard was brilliant, with 40 points gained in only 3 of those 4 matches (against WBA, West Ham, and Sunderland), but let's face it, how strong were those teams back then?
Anyone would quite simply transfer Hazard inas the fixtures appeared to be so easy but you'll have to know it when you should get him out of your team, that's the main problem.
Another disappointment (GW15-GW17)saw Hazard getting 10 points in 3 games for £10.0!
Yet again, after 3 bad games, he came back with 34 points in the next 4 gameweeks, until Gameweek 22 when he started another 3 blanks only to score 21 points against a Newcastle side full of problems after that their star and one of the greatest #FPL picks, Yohan Cabaye left the club.
Hazard gave me even more evidences as he assisted 2 goals against a Fulham side plenty could beat, and scored one of Chelsea's four goals against Spurs.
Globally, Hazard is not an untouchable #FPL player at all, he'll get you a lot of points if you keep him all along the season but he must be transferred in before games against unstable teams (Newcastle, Sunderland, West Ham, Fulham, Cardiff) but also transferred out when he is settled to play some tough games or doesn't have a double gameweek as it's the case for other midfielders like Yaya Toure, Silva and Gerrard and that'll get you even more points.
