Oh, never knew that I came a long way,
Everyone gave me advices but I took the wrong way,
A path to where I knew everything was coming,
I swear I thought this road was something that I was loving,
But rules first, you gotta try to fit in,

This world is fucked up we staying with our skin colors,
Every group I see is nothing but just big numbers,

Family is number one, and you choosing your friends and shit,
Uh, after hours people turn into cowards,
Thinking they the shit but after all, they get devoured,
I’m playing cards, you playing chess, you feel empowered,

I don’t know what life is throwing at me next,
All I know is that cheaters never earn respect,
All I know is how to keep my chin above my neck,

In this world, it’s either life or death,
So you better take it slow and take little baby steps,

The ones telling you to keep up are the ones knocking you down,
