En la tarde de este quinto día ya me había acostumbrado al mar, ya sabia que a las 5 puntualmente llegan los tiburones, había perdido la esperanza de ver luces de un barco puesto que estaba seguro que la balsa no iba en dirección hacia su ruta. La tarde era fresca. El mar, tranquilo. Vi acercarse otra vez a las siete gaviotas del día anterior y esa visión me infundió renovados deseos de vivir.
