HOPE has high-level body control systems, such as traction control, active suspension and advanced pathfinding. Our rover is specifically designed for autonomous survival in harsh conditions. Our critical infrastructure is isolated by warm body technology. HOPE is equipped with high-resolution cameras, a Raman spectrometer, and environmental sensors. We designed an innovative scientific compartment which performs the analysis by itself and transfers it to the control station. Control station has a motorized directional antenna to increase the signal strength.
We added an innovative light system to prevent collisions, increase visibility for both rover and operating astronaut crew.
We evaluated the ideas on our mini-rover, KITT. We always aim for innovative development and solving problems by pursuing alternative paths and risks.
We want to inspire and change the view of space research.
We are supporting the open development and will publish a guidebook. We believe someone else will take our research and make wonders with it. We want to challenge our abilities and ideas in real-world at ERC competition.
