We are sorry to know that you are unable to place an order on Flipkart.

We request you to kindly perform below given troubleshooting steps, so that the issue can be resolved:

For mobile site:

- Clear browsing for browser

Flipkart mobile Website is only works in portrait mode and landscape mode is not supported

1. Open Chrome
2. Tap on the Menu Icon in the left top corner
3. Select History
4. Tap on Clear Browsing data
5. Tap on Clear data to clear all data (make sure the from beginning of time is selected).

For desktop site:

Clear Cache & Temp files

1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete to open the settings,
2. Check the Boxes and click on Clear Browsing Data to clear the cache and temp files.

For Flipkart android app:

Reboot the device

Smartphones are just like computers. They have Processes and Services running in the background and need a reboot regularly (At least once a week). If these processes and services are running for long time without a restart, they may cause issues.

Rebooting your device gives it a fresh start and is sometimes all you need to fix your issue.

- Check for System Update (OTA)

Check if the device has an OTA update available.

1. Open your device's main Settings menu.
2. Select About or System updates (depending on your device, this may be different).
3. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your device.

- Update the App

App updates can provide enhancements and security improvements that may fix the issue. To check to see if there's an update for the app.

1. Open App draw
2. Open Play Store
3. In the Search box, look for Flipkart and open it.
4. If available, tap Update.

- Force Stop and Clear Cache & Data

1. Pull down the notification menu.
2. Open Settings
3. Scroll down and choose Apps.
4. Scroll down and tap Flipkart.

Reboot the device and try using the Flipkart App again.

- Reboot to safe mode

Rebooting in Safe mode will only load the Android system apps and help us understand if the issue is with any third-party app.

1. Press and hold the power button.
2. Tap and Hold Power Off option.
3. In the pop-up window tap OK to reboot into Safe Mode.
4. Once rebooted, the home screen should have a safe mode icon.

Now, open ONLY Flipkart app and check if it works in Safe Mode.
Note: To return back to normal mode, just reboot the device.

- Perform a Factory Reset

- Data may loss during this process.
- If required, backup data.
- Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged.
- If applicable, remove the SD Card from the device to prevent accidental formatting while resetting.

1. Pull down the notification menu.
2. Open Settings
3. Scroll down and choose Backup & reset.
4. Tap Factory data reset.
5. Do not check 'Erase stored content'. Tap Reset Phone.
6. If prompted, input the Security pattern lock, Pin or Password.
7. Tap Reset Now.

- Setup the device.
- After setup, download the Flipkart App.

Note: During setup after the reset, please make sure you do not restore the settings. Set it up as a new device. (Some Settings or Apps might be the root cause of the actual issue).

Also, do not to install apps from unknown sources like third-party websites or through SHAREit. Apps must be downloaded only from the Google Play Store.
