We'd like to let you know that ‘Credit Card No Cost EMI’ is one of the prepaid payment modes with which you can shop for items from select sellers on Flipkart with no interest and zero down payment.
Once the payment is completed using this mode, an instant discount will be applied for the amount you are charged as interest by the bank ensuring you do not incur any additional EMI charges.
The monthly installments will be deducted from your HDFC credit card.
As per our records we can see that instant discount of Rs. 1041/- is applied to your order for No Cost Emi and the same is being charged by bank as interest.
You can have a look at the price breakup.
E.g. If you purchase a product worth Rs. 12,000 at a 3 month EMI plan and the interest charged by your bank is Rs. 600, then Rs. 600 will be given as an instant discount during payment and an amount of 11400 will be blocked in your credit card
Later the interest amount of Rs. 600 will be charged by the bank in instalments, to sum up to Rs. 12000
Order value: Rs. 12,000
Instant discount during payment: Rs.600
Amount to be paid while purchasing: Rs.11,400
Interest charged by Bank in installments: Rs.600
Total amount paid: Rs.12,000 which is equal to product price
Please note that Flipkart does not charge any processing fee for this payment mode. You may get in touch with the bank's customer care using the number mentioned on the back of your card for more information.
The bank may charge service tax on the final order value and you may get in touch bank's customer care using the number mentioned on the back of your card for further clarification on this.
