Pebbles had always wanted to adventure and really wanted to flee from her past, Charles pushes her to leave too, so they go together. A long long time later, they are almost fully developed, and they kept pushing their luck and wandered into the edge of the Milky Way, which is where most Sirens live, and they can hear their songs, and since they are very naive, they really don't understand Sirens without their compassion. Pebbles is forced into a bonding ceremony, it turns out she cannot have children. The male who forced her comes back to watch the birth, but there's nothing. That is a weakness. He attacks her, and she doesn't know how to fight back, Charles hides out of fear, trying to think of a way to help her. Sirens have a hivemind mentality, and a few females hear the fight and join in to kill Pebbles. First of all, her facial wings are ripped off and devoured, they take chunks out of her arms and eat up most of her tail. She tries to bite one's arm, so the other Siren breaks her jaw. She tries to escape in a blur and is squished, twisting her leg violently. This continues until they cave her skull in and knock her fangs out. (This happens in less then three minutes, Charles didn't just stall) Charles, even though morbidly horrified, throws himself onto the pile, and he doesn't know how to fight at all, Pebbles floats away as the Sirens focus their attention onto him instead. (He's a chubby, shorter Siren, and she's a little taller and thin). For years, she wanders alone. Her body heals itself, but of course without medical care, there's no way she looks the same, her jaw is crooked to the left and her right eye is sunken into her face and dips downwards. Her left eye was raked out of her face. Her facial fins are torn to shreds so they aren't too visible anymore. When she walks, she has a very violent limp, because her knee bends to the left and she can't straighten her leg out. (A black hole's body is like putty, it's hard to dent, but it can be). Where her ribs would be if she was a human are inverted, and one of her arms is very weakened, the matter was never able to reform after her fresh wounds became extremely infected. She's sickly, prone to illness, has horrible memory, can't see well at all, and she's in chronic pain.
