Maven membaca petunjuknya dan mulai praktek.
"Pertama siapkan cangkir, sebaiknya warna putih kan."
Maven mengambil sebuah cangkir lalu ia letakkan diatas meja.
"Selanjutnya merebus air dan masukkan sesendok makan daun teh kedalam cangkir."
Maven bergerak mengambil teko dan mengisinya dengan air, menarug tekonya diatas tungku dan menyalakan api.
"Menunggu air mendidih." gumamnya sambil memasukkan daun teh kedalam cangkir.
Setelah 3 menit, tekonya berbunyi tanda air sudah mendidih.
Maven meraih teko dan menuang airnya kedalam cangkir, sesekali ia mengaduknya dengan sendok kecil agar tercampur rata.
"Masih panas."
Maven membuka jendela ruangan kelas supaya udara masuk dan tehnya bisa segera dingin.
"Terasa sedikit hangat."
Maven meminum tehnya sampai habis seraya membayangkan hal yang ingin ia ramalkan. Ia melihat pola yang ditimbulkan oleh daun teh di cangkirnya.
