Thanks for writing in.

We understand your concern that you are facing issues with your product 'OPPO F3 Plus (Gold, 64 GB) (6 GB RAM)' and we are sorry for the trouble you had to go through.

We would like to let you know that the order is covered in 10 day replacement policy period,so the seller will only replace the product not exchange or refund.

Also, we would like to let you know that we are providing troubleshooting for the heating and hanging issues, this might resolve your issues.

1. Basic Checks

The battery drains faster when you use the device for:

- Intensive use of basic functions like calls, browsing etc.
- Navigation or GPS for long periods of time.
- Intensive camera use.
- Watching a lot of videos.
- Playing graphics-intensive games.

Using apps for long periods of time, like Facebook and WhatsApp (The screen is on all the while).

2. Restart the device

Restarting your device gives it a fresh start and is sometimes all you need to fix your issue.

- Press and hold the Power button on your smartphone to Restart the device (If reboot isnt available, turn Off
and then turn On your smartphone).

If you want to know how long the device has been running, follow the steps below:

- Open Settings
- Scroll down and tap About Phone (If you don't see this option, tap System and then proceed)
Tap Status
- Scroll down and check Up time (The time listed here is in hours. Anything above 168 hours needs to be
restarted.)

3. Check for battery health status

- Open the Phone dialer
- Dial *#*#4636#*#*
- Tap Battery information
- You can now see the Battery info, like Health and Temperature.
- The battery voltage mentioned in the image is just for reference. This varies from device to device.
- Battery Temperature: Anything below 50° C is considered normal. If it's above 50° C, the battery is defective

4. Check Battery Usage

- Open Settings
- Scroll down and choose Battery
- This is a list of apps/components which are consuming more power.

You can also choose to use the power save mode. Enabling this will reduce the device performance.

5. Check for OTA

Things to remember before the update:

- Make sure the phone is connected to WiFi. (If Wi-Fi issue, you may have to use the mobile data)
- Make sure the battery is charged above 50% or is connected to the charger during the update
- You can backup any important data, if required.

Follow these steps to check/perform an OTA Update:

- Open Settings
- Scroll down and choose System Update
- If there is an update available, tap Update Now
- Then tap Continue and once it downloads the software, tap Upgrade Now

The device will restart now and boot back with the new software version.

6. Perform a factory reset

- Open Settings
- Scroll down and tap Additional settings.
- Tap Back up and reset
- Tap Factory data reset
- It's very important you choose Erase all app data and apps that can be uninstalled and not the second option.
- Tap OK on the warning to start the reset process.

7. Check for available storage

Check to see how much storage is available.

- Open Settings
- Scroll down and choose Additional settings
- Tap Storage
- Check the available storage

If the "Available" space is running less than 10%, you may need to free up storage space by uninstalling unwanted apps or deleting items like pictures or videos.

You may want to clear unwanted temp files by going to File cleanup, wait for the device to perform a cleanup and then tap Clean

8. Uninstall recently installed apps

Uninstall recently downloaded apps one by one to see if you can find the app that's causing issues. (see steps below)
Once you remove the app that's causing the problem, you can reinstall the other apps you removed during testing.

In case, the issue is still persist please write back within 72 hours.
