La installi, e vai su instagram.
Tasto sinistro sull'estensione in alto a destra e selezioni il device che vuoi.
Va bene sia android che iphone, è la stessa cosa.
In teoria avresti finito, ma per essere più comodo ti consiglio di andare in modalità ispeziona elemento su chrome (F12)
e premere "CTRL + SHIFT + M" (toggle device toolbar, non so cosa sia in italiano ma c'è l'icona di un cell e di un tablet, ma ti basta premere quei tasti)
ps: ricordati di rimettere Chrome-> Default (o qualsiasi sia il tuo browser che stai effettivamente usando) quando finisci di fare quello che devi fare
