Notes

I knew her best friend since the beginning of the year. I met my crush around the first or second week of school. She was in my first-period class and 7th period P.E. classes until she moved schedules. Now she's only in my 8th period.
She slapped me in the face randomly(and admittedly hardly) but apologized later, and told me that she doesn't know exactly why she slapped me in the first place, but we laughed it off. The next day she claimed that she didn't like anybody at the school(with some exceptions) and I was one of the people that she thought was annoying. I dismissed this idea, as one of her close friends spits and snorts every time he talks and yells every 30 seconds, but that's not the point.

I asked her best friend Jenny(extremely fake name) where they sat at lunch, and she lied about it. I found where they sat and decided to sit. Jenny told me to not sit with them, but I didn't listen. I just mingled with Alexa(Close, but not quite her real name) and who I thought was her boyfriend. They moved a table right, and as I was moving, Jenny told me to not sit with them a second time. I have a fuzzy memory in the minute that followed, but I remember pointing out that she was just making up excuses to separate me from her and the group, and she said: "yeah, I know." Alexa's other friend said, almost reading my mind(except dismissing it completely), "ha, I like how she just completely just owned up to that."

Advisory is close to an end and I see Alexa with her actual boyfriend. I ask Jenny if THAT was her boyfriend, and she said, "yep. now you definitely have no chance with her."
I then bring up that she "gets in and out of relationships quickly," as she said, and she replied with, "not this one." I reply back with, "I'm a pretty patient guy." and she tells me that she never liked me, and she never will. I ask why, and she doesn't know that, and she replies with, "She REALLY doesn't like you. she's not very fond of you."
This really hurt me, and I bring up when she stated that she thought I was only slightly annoying, and she stated she only did to "not hurt my feelings." We get in a shouting match that eventually gets the teacher to break it up.
I have reason to believe that she fabricated the moving hoax in an attempt for me to lose hope. What should I do? I decided out of my 4 crushes that I had at the moment that she would be the one. Should I pursue her?
