{ Asal mula Nagini serta tujuan dibuatnya Nagini oleh Voldermort }
Nagini adalah ular kesayangan Voldemort yang ada bersamanya setiap saat. Nagini merupakan Salah satu dari ke tujuh Horcrux yang dibuat oleh Voldemort. Nagini merupakan Horcrux dari mahluk hidup selain Harry Potter. Nagini merupakan ular peliharaan Lord Vodemort. Voldemort merasakan lebih dekat dengan ular ini daripada makhluk lain. Voldemort dapat berkomunikasi dengan Nagini karena kemampuannya untuk berbicara Parseltongue, atau yang biasa disebut dengan bahasa ular.
Horcrux Nagini diciptakan ketika Voldemort bersembunyi di hutan Albania, korban dari penciptaan Horcrux ini adalah Bertha Jorkins. Tujuan Voldemort menciptakan Nagini adalah untuk menjadikan nagini sebagai alat serta perlindungan untuk keabadiannya.
{ Pengiriman Nagini ke Departemen Sihir }
Voldemort dapat merasuki Nagini dan menggunakannya untuk memeriksa keadaan di Departemen Misteri. Tidak dijelaskan bagaimana caranya Voldemort merasuki ularnya, dan bagaimana juga caranya mengirim ular itu ke Kementerian Sihir. Saat sedang memata-matai Departemen Misteri, Arthur Weasley memergoki ular itu saat dia mendapat giliran jaga. Nagini menyerang Arthur dan menyebabkannya terluka cukup parah sehingga harus mendapat perawatan intensif di Rumah Sakit St. Mungo.
{ Pemusnahan Nagini }
Nagini dimusnahkan oleh Neville Longbottom dengan menggunakan pedang Godric Griffindor, yang juga sebelumnya telah memusnahkan liontin dan cincin.
