Teori Big bang
> Salah satu teori mengenai terbentuknya alam semesta yang cukup dikenal. Teori ledakan besar ini bermula dari gumpalan kecil yang memiliki massa cukup besar hingga berakhir big bang yang melepaskan sejumlah besar energi. Setelah terbentuk banyak, bintang tersebut berkumpul membentuk kelompok yang kemudian disebut galaksi.
Alasan : Teori ini dibilang paling masuk akal oleh banyak ilmuwan yang ada. Juga teori ini bukan hanya menjelaskan permulaan alam semesta tetapi teori Big Bang juga berhasil memprediksi bagaimana akhir dari alam semesta kelak. Salah satu buktinya 'Radiasi dasar gelombang Mikrokosmik' yang berbeda dengan radiasi yang biasanya bersumber dari angkasa. Radiasi ini tersebar di alam semesta secara rata ke semua arah.
