Horklump adalah satwa gaib yang berbentuk seperti jamur di dunia muggle. Yang membedakannya dengan jamur adalah Horklump memiliki bulu-bulu hitam tipis namun lebat. Horklump berkembang biak luar biasa cepat dan akan menutupi kebun yang luasnya rata-rata dalam satu hari. Mereka berkembang dengan cara menyebarkan tentakel yang mirip otot, dan bukannya akar, ke dalam tanah.
Makanan kesukaan horklump adalah cacing tanah. Horklump merupakan makanan lezat kesukaan Gnome, selain itu Horklumps tidak jelas bisa digunakan untuk apa bagi penyihir. Horklump yang diolah menjadi jus juga sering dijadikan bahan pembuatan ramuan, diantaranya Wiggenweld Potion dan Herbicide Potion.
Racun Streeler adalah salah satu yang diketahui yang bisa membunuh Horklumps. Selain itu Gilderoy Lockhart merekomendasikan metode berikut untuk mengeluarkan Horklump di bukunya Marauding with Monsters: Menggunakan Knockback Jinx, lalu pegang horklump yang ingin dibasmi atau diangkat dengan kuat, lalu putar dan tarik mereka keluar dari tanah.
