1- There are some instances in which I think lying should be allowed, like speaking with children or when you need to consider privacy. However, it is much better to have a hard truth to overcome then to lie to everyone. It leads to a culture of mistrust if we cannot rely on each other's words.
2-Yes,lying is bad.Most relationships have an element of trust involved and if that trust is broken then the relationship basically has no meaning at all and if a person can not depend on a relationship then they would have problems depending on anything in life at all when everything is so shaky.
3-Lying is bad 100% Lying is bad because if you lie to someone that person can no longer trust you and it makes you feel. Bad you might think it is cool but it can lead to unexpected consoquences, you also lie because it makes you feel higher than the others but what goes around come around.And when you lie you move farther away from god and god is the place you want to be at telling the truth makes it easier for everyone incloding you lying daily is the worst thing you could do so that is why you should pry every night.
4-Good or bad I think lying is a good thing because maybe if you lie it can make someone feel better also you could easily protect someone if they are in danger and it can also protect you too so that is why I think lying is not always a bad thing so in other words lying is good.
5-Lying is not that bad I don't think lying is bad because it may come to good use. You may need to lie so you can protect yourself and possibly your friends from something bad. Lying is bad only sometimes because some people may lie for a bad reason. So overall lying is not that bad.
6-I don't know I really believe it depends on the lie and the people. Yes it can hurt others but lying can help protect yourself. Even when we are just baby's we lie because we just want to be loved and be close to someone safe . I really think that lying has its pros and cons.
7-It depends on the situation Some people feel the need to lie to their friends the fit in with the social status of the group, say they've done something 'cool' when they haven't and no one else in the group has but they need that edge so people see them differently and don't see them as someone who is the 'boring' or 'uncool' one in the group.
8-It gets you out of a bad situation Say a stranger is chasing your friend and doesn't know which way he/she went. The stranger asked you which way your friend went. Would you tell them where your friend is or save their life and lead the stranger to the wrong direction? You could say that you wouldn't tell them but that isn't the topic here. Many people would choose to lie for their friends sake. My opinion is that lying is good under certain circumstances.
