- Agenda: daily question (fill in particle numbers in chart on Canvas), atom drawing practice, 50 elements flash cards, elements practice
- lesson started at 2:25 after daily science
- was walking around and monitoring students
- We do...drawing oxygen atom on board: puts on compass points and in pairs (students could draw with paper or on laptop)

- You do...every student must complete and show me without talking to neighbors (T walks around with clipboard checking every student off for correct element - Chlorine, if done and waiting on me go ahead and draw element #21 - need to have something for them to do during wait time...can they do a worksheet while they wait, work on their notecards, have students check other students???
- If you are first and correct, you will get candy
- draw correct answer on the board for students to see
- don't just memorize facts, know what they teach us about the elements from the periodic table
- making element notecards...provides place on canvas for students to visit if they lost their worksheet, provide markers for students to make cards
- put up bouncy balls...you owe me the break-o-meter: very effective...kids worked quietly
- while students are working, hand out missing task reports and graded papers
