A pedator is an animal that hunts for food. Predators eyes are face forward and are on the top of their head so they can see there prey better.
Examples are wolfes, eagles, and lions.

An animals that hunts and eats mainly meat for food. Carnivore's have long, sharp teeth for tearing and ripping flesh called canine teeth.

An animal that eats mainly plants is a herbivore. Herbivores have large, flat teeth in the back of their mouth for griding up their plants they eat.
Examples are deer, bison, and hores.
