Notes

The day was just like any other day. I was just waiting for my friend Eliza in the calming heat of fall. The day was like any other besides for the fact I had to go baby sit three bratty little monsters. I waited for thirteen minutes. A head poked out of a 1960's mini van. "Ciao" I yelled out. "1960 mini van non son Italian" Eliza replied, quite snappy. "Well you don't need to be mean about it." Eliza hopped out of the car. "Hey Alexandra, come see stator? Da ho base in Italia!". I screamed out in confusion. "Sorry, had to learn the lingo over a year." Eliza asked me my plans for the evening; I told her about the baby sitting job. I then questioned if Eliza wanted to help. By the next five minutes, Eliza went over everything wrong with children. "So No?" I asked with my hope already thrown away. "OF COURSE I WANT TO COME" Eliza finished. I was so baffled and happy it mixed inside of me like a smoothie mixes inside of a blender. A couple of hours later of going shopping or rather, looking and trying on clothes, it was time for the climax of my day to begin.

I had arrived at the monster's house. I knocked on the door, Eliza beaming behind me. "Hey Alexandra" said a tired yet cleaned up house woman. "Well, you clean up nice" Eliza said. "Uh, Thanks?" the woman said. "So, who is this?" the nice lady said pointing at Eliza. "Oh she's just...." I was cut of by Eliza's bratty voice "I'm Eliza Avalanc, brand new from Italy, pleasure" she held out her hand. "Uh, Alex's friend?" Mrs. Cane-Moon declared. "Yeah" Eliza said moping.

I got in the house to find Ayden, Shelby and Alex Cane-Moon. I said my goodbyes to the parents, Mr. & Mrs. Cane-Moon, and started. The hours were from three to eight past midday. "So, what's in your mind for activity's?" Eliza asked. "Ice Cream" one shouted "Disney" called another "MOVIE THEATER" shouted a third. "Disney movies on the couch with ice cream?" I suggested. The children shouted in pleasure.

The rest of the night went by smoothly, and all was nice until Ayden said she had dyed her hair, fed the dog chocolate and started a small fire in the kitchen all while Alexandra was using the bathroom. Alexandra shrieked in fear. "ELIZABETH ELIZABETH EDGE how could you?" I shouted. "EVERYBODY OUT, NOW!" I said as the stove started to catch fire. The house was... Or rather would be toast.

The next day, I awoke in a strange white room. My head hurt a lot and everything was fuzzy. "Alex, Alexandra, ALEX" a familiar voice rang through my head. "Eliza?" my voice was horse, dying almost. "The house exploded, you jumped in front of the kids and I, and got a concussion." "Thank you."
