GRANDMA

We called her "Grandma Peggy" and she was a wonderful Grandma to all 9 of us. Joe is the oldest - he is 31. Kelsey is 28, Alex is 27, Angie is 24, Cami is 21, Ben is 19, Paige is 13, McKenna is 11 and Oliver is 10, he is the youngest. Harper, who is 9 months old is Grandma Peggy's 1st great grandchild. We all have lots of great memories of her that we will never forget.

One of all of our favorite memories of her was that she loved to tickle our arms with her fingernails. We loved it and she had the longest, prettiest fingernails. She always painted her nails and they were usually purple. Her favorite color was purple. We thought it would honor her memory today for us to wear something purple.

She loved watches. She had every color and every kind of watch you can imagine. We would try on her watches, wear them and we would count them. She had over 30 watches. She also loved everything about Sweden and had Swedish nick knacks all over her house. A lot of family meals at her house included Swedish Sausage and Swedish meatballs.

Some of us spent many overnights with Grandma. We would watch a lot of golf on Tv and "Who wants to be a millionaire." Her and Grandpa taught us how to play Bocci Ball and how to play the game Jenga. Grandma was always singing. She would wake us up in the morning on school days with a song she made up that goes - "The school bus comes, it goes beep beep, it's time to go to school" and so on.....
We also played a lot of long games of "Hide the Spoon" and "Hide the Thimble." It was always fun to have her stay at our house or us to stay at hers.

She also always had a purse full of gum. It was one of the 1st things we asked her for whenever we were with her.

She loved nail polish, jewelry, purses and high heels. We had fun playing dress up with her things and sometimes she would give us her old things to take home to play with.

The last few years of her life she couldn't talk very well, but the younger grand kids still have great memories with Grandma, as she would smile, laugh and make lots of excited sounds when she saw them and all of us.

She was always happy, always full of life, always waving and the best grandma to all of us.

Thanks Grandma Peggy for being so caring, so kind and so much fun. We love you and will really miss you!!
