Currently , if a Ui issue occurs on CIT/SIT/Production the team is unable to determine the root cause unless the exact same scenario is replicated . This is a cumbersome process and is time consuming .
The approach we could use is as follows:
1.Create a service on the CSL layer which accepts text logs from the front end each time the UI encounters an error.
2.Add code to the ember logger service to dump error logs for each session. Keeping client confidentiality and other constraints in mind , this code on the UI will ONLY dump the error logs and no other information such as transaction ref, payee etc
3. A search tool to retrieve logs for a particular defect. An enhancement to this could be to attach these logs to every JIRA defect so that any developer working on it has context
