The biological reason for human mass growing is that the blood cells expand and build up together creating a bigger and bigger mass and that is also the
reason of when you get older you get weaker. Another reason for human mass growing is your muscles and bones react to vitamins causing it to inflate and that is what causes growing pains too! Animals such as the american green newt can grow their limbs back beacause of blood cells building up and duplicating. If you have a deflated baloon try blowing it up and imagine that the air in the baloon wich is making it inflate is blood cells rushing into it causing growth! If you are age 50 plus your blood cells become weaker and devide into different parts causing your bones to become old and weak causing the human body to shrink. Also the red spotted salamander can grow its limbs back! As i am young i still havent fully developed full humanoid growth.
