Thank you for your assistance! Here's an update of my work since the visor project:
1. Over the summer I worked at Google Daydream on their 6DoF team which is creating VPS (visual positioning system - form indoor navigation). I developed a cross-platform mobile communication app which enables cooperative mapping and localization so that smartphones can gain better location accuracy by communicating their positions with other smartphones. I also worked on a human activity recognition project using machine learning for AR/VR applications.
2. This semester I am working on a developing the software for a headband that can measure EEG brain signals, and head orientation in order to extract navigational cues to help the disabled control a wheelchair in a touch-free manner. I currently have a prototype or an Arduino powered robot that can be controlled using head orientation. I am currently working on building a Kalman filter that can determine when to use the head orientation data vs the EEG signal (via machine learining) to best and safely control the wheelchair.
3. Finally, I am the president of IoT Collaborative this semester. I led/taught a project to around 20 students on how create a Hadoop cluster with Raspberry Pi.
