Married to: Konata Izumi. Because on July 15th 2012, Konata was walking home from the Otaku convention and was pushed into an alleyway by an older man, that man was going to rape Konata until Jake saw her struggling beneath the older man, Jake proceeded to kick the man off of Konata. Jake then gives a warning to the man to walk away, the older man doesn't comply and attacks Jake. Jake dodges all of the attacks and counters a kick to the stomach. Jake then roundhouse kicks the man in the jaw. The man then pulls a gun out and points it towards Jake. Jake showing no sign of fear attacks the man. The man shoots Jake in his left arm, Jake was in a lot of pain. But managed to kick the gun out of the man's hands. Meanwhile Konata Calls the police while Jake distracts the man who shot him. Minutes later, the police arrive and see the older man attack Jake. The police Taze the older man and arrest him. Konata goes to Jake and asks if he was okay. Jake replies with he is fine and tells Konata to hurry home. Konata doesn't believe this and insists to call some paramedics. Jake replies with a stern look saying that he'll be fine and that he doesn't need paramedics, Konata looks saddened by this and asks if she should walk him home, Jake denies it and tells her that he can do it on his own. Konata, after this incident, remembered this day for a few months. Later into October. The bullet wound has disappeared and everyone is relieved. Konata knocks on the Hiiragi residence door and Tsukasa answers it. Konata asks if she could talk to Jake, Tsukasa wonders why Konata would ask to talk to Jake because Jake told them that a bullet ricocheted off of a wall and hit him. And why Jake of all people. Tsukasa allows Konata to talk to Jake, Konata then said to Tsukasa if she can talk to him in private. Tsukasa allows Konata to talk to Jake in Private and Walks to get Jake. Seconds later, Jake appears and sees Konata. Konata grabs Jake and asks of she would want to go on a walk. In which they do. Konata takes a very confused Jake to the park underneath a tree. Konata then asks if he would marry her for him saving her from being raped and possibly even murdered. Jake becomes flushed with emotion and doesn't reply for a few Minutes, Konata is wondrous and scared about what his answer will be, Jake snaps out of his Trance like state and barely manages to say yes. Tears well up in Konata's eyes and she begins hug Jake out of Happiness. Jake is now extremely confused about what just happened, Later in the day she returns home yells at her dad all happy, that now she is married. Sojiro is very surprised by this and asks who is the lucky man to marry her. Konata says Jake Hiiragi. Sojiro becomes even more surprised than before due to him knowing Jake. Meanwhile at Hiiragi residence they are all having dinner and Tsukasa blatantly asks what Konata talked to him about, which intrigued everybody else at the dinner table. Kagamine Eggs on Jake to tell then, then all of his sister's ,except Tsukasa, began to make fun of Jake asking what she did and their theories on what she said. Jake stood up and everyone knew what was about to happen, they thought Jake was about to Explode into a rage, so everybody prepared for what was about to happen, Jake grabs the glass of water and a spoon, and taps them together to get everyone's attention, he then says, that he is now married to a very cute woman, everyone settled down and asked who that woman was, Jake had a little bit of trouble saying it and stuttered, Konata. Everyone was shocked at this, Kagamine Knows Konata and known that she would never marry Jake. Kagamine shouts at Jake whilst saying that Konata would never Marry him, then Jake unleashes the painful truth. The Bullet wound he got wasn't from a ricocheted bullet. He tells everybody that he saved Konata from being raped and possibly murdered by an older man, Jake then continues to say that the man shot Jake in the arm. Jake has protected Konata and now Konata has asked him to marry her. Kagamine takes it really hard and enters a serious state of depression, she runs off into her and Tsukasa's room and slams it shut. Jake goes In the room to comfort Kagamine after hearing the news that he is married to Konata. Jake soothes Kagamine out of her depression and reassured her that there are plenty of fish in the sea and she will find true love eventually. The wedding happens in December of 2012 and they are officially married.
