anxiety and depression slowly became my enemies

i had depression and it help me get through it
when i was broken u knew it
i couldn't admit couldnt even show it
at 3 am im pretending im ok
looking at the ceiling
tryna figure out what is this pain that im feeling
then the next night i try to keep it all in wishing that i wer'nt breathing
got so many fake friends loads of lies
never saying hello always goodbye
and i keep it to myself cuz i try to hide
left both of u cuz i couldnt decide
but atleast i tried
when u asked me if i were okay i said no cuz i lied
on my hands and knees begging for forgivness
if there is a god i hope that he will forget this
saw my best friend walk away u dont know what i witnessed
