Dear Mr. Berger,
I am writing to apply for the job as an assistant electrician as advertised in the Austrian newspaper Kurier of 22 April 2017.
My name is Daniel Arnauer, I am 18 years old and I am attending the secondary technical college for Electronics in Hollabrunn, Lower Austria, from where I will graduate in June 2018.
During my school education, I got familiar with the basics of electricity in the subject Hardware Development which I have been studying for four years. Moreover, I learnt how to wire components in Prototype Development as well as I gained knowledge of electrical circuits and electrical symbols in the workshop lessens. Besides my technical qualifications, I am fluent in English because I have been studying the language for eight years. Furthermore, I took part in a language week in Ireland last years where I was able to communicate with the Irish people without any problems, shown by the acquired certificate.
Apart from my excellent school education, I did an internship with an electrician in August 2016 which allowed me to further improve my practical experience. In addition, I learned to work in a team as well as on my own.
However, I am not only an advanced technician but I am also interested in arts and culture and in my leisure time I like to go to the opera and the theatre.
As I still go to school, I would be available in July and August or in just one of these months.
I would be ready for an interview whenever it suits you, preferably in the afternoon.
