Konami Corporation jika di Jepang (コナミ株式会社) dibaca 'Konami Kabushiki-gaisha'
Merupakan pengembang dan pembuat dari berbagai permainan populer, kartu permainan, mesin ding-dong/arcade, anime, tokusatsu, mesin slot, dan permainan video. Perusahaan ini didirikan tahun 1969 di Osaka, Jepang oleh Kagemasa Kōzuki.
Asal usul nama "Konami"
Nama "Konami" berasal dari gabungan suku kata pertama dari nama keluarga pendirinya Kagemasa Kouzuki, Yoshinobu Nakama, dan Tatsuo Miyasako. Selain Kōzuki, pendiri Konami semuanya sudah mengundurkan diri. '
Cerita lain mengatakan bahwa "Mi" dalam Konami berasal dari huruf pertama nama pendirinya, Hiro Matsuda, and Shokichi Ishihara. Dalam wawancara dengan harian Nikkei Shimbun, Kōzuki mengatakan bahwa "Konami" (ombak kecil) lebih baik daripada "Ōnami" (ombak besar).
Beberapa perangkat lunak permainan videonya yang terkenal adalah Metal Gear Solid di playstation, Dance-dance Revolution, seri Suikoden, Castlevania, Contra dan permainan sepak bola Winning Eleven.
Pada bulan Februari 2003, Konami mengganti logo lama yang telah dipakai 17 tahun dengan logo baru.
