التعريف بالمرض
هو مرض ينتج عن البكتيريا اليرسينية الطاعونية ويتميز بإصابته للغدد الليمفاوية أو الرئتين ومن ثم تسببه بتسمم حاد في الدم ، و يؤدي للوفاة في 100% من الحالات إذا لم يتم علاجه خلال ستة أيام .
ملخص عن المرض
مرض الطاعون هو مرض تسببه بكتريا اليرسينيا الطاعونية ، وينتقل من الحيوانات الحاملة لهذه البكتيريا مثل الفئران والقطط والكلاب ، ومن الذباب كذلك ، وينقسم إلى ثلاثة أنواع أهمها و أكثرها شيوعا الطاعون الدملي الذي يصيب الغدد الليمفاوية وأقلها انتشارا و أكثرها فتكا الطاعون الدملي ، وكلا النوعين يؤدي إلى النوع الثالث وهو الطاعون التسممي ويحدث عند انتشار البكتيريا في الدم ، ويتركز علاجه على المضادات الحيوية ، أما الوقاية منه فتتم عن طريق تجنب الذباب والحيوانات الناقلة للمرض
