Scrap memiliki arti barang sisa.
Definisi scrapbook : seni menempel foto atau gambar di media kertas, dan menghiasnya hingga menjadi karya kreatif.
Mendekorasi foto, bahan cetakan dan memorable dalam sebuah album dekorasi bisa jg disebut scrapbook. Scrapbooker adalah sebutan yang biasa ditujukan kepada orang yang hobbi nya membuat scrapbook.
Ada 2 Cara dalam membuat Scrapbook, yaitu cara Manual dan Digital.
1. Cara Manual
Liat barang yang harus disiapkan :
- kertas background,
- perekat foto,
- gunting,
- pemotong kertas,
- pena kaligrafi/draw pen
6.lem.
Alat ntuk desain yang lebih kompleks :
- Template,
- stempel karet,
- gunting craft,
- pelubang kertas,
- embossing tool,
- stencil,
- tinta warna,
- mesin potong kertas.
Berbagai aksesoris atau “hiasan” tambahan :
stiker, stempel, elemen bentuk, elemen huruf, pita, renda, kawat dan lain-lain (sesuai kebutuhan pembuat)
2. Cara Digital
Cara yang ke dua adalah Digital Scrapbook, yaitu scrapbook yang di buat dengan menggunakan software khusus, photosop, dll.
Biasanya scrapbook dibuat untuk kado/hadiah ulang tahun, atau untuk perayaan anniversarry, bisa juga untuk membuat kenangan bersama orang-orang tersayang.
Contoh cara membuat scrapbook :
1. Tentukan tema scrapbook dan cetak foto yang sesuai dalam tema scrapbook
2. Cetak foto dapat dalam berbagai ukuran. Bisa variasikan dengan foto black and white (jika suka.)
3. Gunakan bahan-bahan yg ada disekitar/sudah tak terpakai, Seperti renda tidak terpakai, robekan kain, kancing, daun kering, kertas-kertas majalah, manik-manik, dll.
4. gunting foto sesuai keinginan dan menempelnya pada kertas yang lebih besar (HVS, karton bekas minuman, atau lapisi dengan kertas Koran atau majalah.)
5. Hias pinggiran kertas, bisa gunakan gutingan asal atau hias dengan bahan-bahan yang ada
6. Satukan setiap halaman dengan pita atau tali
7. Scrapbook siap diberikan kepada orang tersayang.
